TECHNICIANS / DRAFTSPEOPLE (Montréal)

The Challenge

Drawing on his or her proficiency in drafting, structural plans, erection plans, and timber construction, the technician / draftsperson will prepare implementation plans for the construction of timber structures using CAD software. He or she will be able to read and interpret plans and specifications, analyze timber components and provide technical support.

 

Your Background
The technician / draftsperson will be meticulous and bilingual and hold a technical diploma in civil engineering or architecture. He or she will have a minimum of two (2) years’ related experience, including 3D modelling and preparing plans and shop drawings. He or she must be proficient in AutoCAD, Cadwork and SolidWorks.

ENGINEERS – PROJECT MANAGERS (Montréal)

The Challenge - Drawing on advanced skills in engineering and timber structural design, the engineer – project manager will design and develop timber structure projects, including the preparation of plans, specifications, and design notes, and connection design. In addition to managing projects, he or she will solve design-related technical problems and develop high-performance structural solutions.

 

Your Background - The engineer – project manager will be meticulous, diligent and bilingual, with good communication skills. He or she will hold a university degree in engineering with a minimum of three (3) years’ related experience. Working knowledge of applicable building codes, advanced technical structural knowledge, and project management experience are excellent assets.

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER – CEP (MONTRÉAL)

Your Challenge – The structural engineer (CEP) designs assembly details and connectors for mass timber structures, among other things by carrying out various calculations. This role requires a hands-on approach to engineering, attention to detail and a passion for innovation in structural wood solutions.

 

Your Profile – Holder of a university degree in engineering. Familiarity with RFEM and Sizer software is an asset, but it is your desire to learn and adapt that truly sets you apart. You are fluent in French and English, so you can communicate complex engineering concepts with ease and precision.
