Beverly Regional Airport

Beverly, Massachusetts

This project is the first of ten planned airport administration buildings made with wood. It is the first governmental building built using cross-laminated timber (CLT) in the United States. This project demonstrates the possibilities offered by mass timber construction and the advantages of CLT, which was chosen for structural and architectural reasons in equal measure.
