The California College of the Arts expansion was completed in 2024. This striking design by Studio Gang architects features an eye-catching mass timber exoskeleton, comprised of ebony-stained Douglas Fir chevrons. With an 82,000 square-foot building area, the building houses classrooms and workshops for art students of diverse disciplines. Three levels of mass timber sit on a concrete podium, connecting the different pavilions.
