T3 Bayside East

Toronto, Ontario

Sitting on the Toronto Waterfront, the T3 Bayside complex houses office spaces with an astonishing view on the Toronto Bay. In line with the T3 concept, referring for this project to Timber, Talent, and Technology, the 10-storey office building is composed of a concrete podium on the ground floor with a 9-level exposed mass timber structure on top. The structure has a 2-hour fire resistance. Concrete slabs were poured on top of 7-ply CLT panels. Some floors can partially be removed to create double height spaces to accommodate different space layouts and adapt to evolving tenants’ needs. The building is a strong advocate for a more sustainable way to build high-rise office buildings.
