Aura Snowmass

Snowmass Village
Colorado

Surrounded by the beauty of the Colorado Rockies, Aura uses mass timber to create a contemporary mountain retreat. The structure combines the warmth and biophilic qualities of wood with the precision, performance and design flexibility of modern engineering.

Aura's environmental strategy extends from construction through occupancy. The 291 m³ of glulam and 1,079 m³ of CLT store 1,067 metric tonnes of sequestered carbon, while shipping nearly the entire journey by rail reduced transportation emissions by an additional 115 metric tonnes.
