With immense V-shaped glulam beams incorporated into a hybrid structure supporting heavy roof loads, the museum showcases mass timber at its best: an elegant sustainable material successfully fulfilling both structural and architectural roles, and delivering on wood’s biophilic properties.
Meticulous coordination between professionals and our team considered each mechanical, electrical and plumbing component penetrating the roof – and by design, concealing them within the mass timber elements.
