Following an architectural competition, the team of Lapointe Magne et associés / L’ŒUF was selected to deliver this landmark project for the City of Vaudreuil-Dorion. More than 1,000 m³ (35,300 cu. ft.) of mass timber was installed in just 10 weeks. The project features a primary structural system with 24 m (79 ft) beams, complemented by a secondary timber frame supporting the walls. The building houses a library bathed in natural light, showcasing the exposed mass timber structure.
